Worthy Martin Co-Curates Photography Exhibit at UVA's Fralin Museum of Art

IATH's Director, Worthy Martin, is the co-curator, with Hannah Rogers of Science & Technology Studies, of a new photography exhibit that just opened at the UVA Fralin Museum of Art. The exhibit, "Making Science Visible: The Photography of Berenice Abbott," celebrates Abbott's work photographing a wide range of scientific concepts and processes. The exhibit reflects on how the use of images in science education and practice, and on Abbott's interest in how photography could contribute to science. The exhibit includes images published in textbooks in the late 1950s
