“Social Networks and Archival Context Project: A Case Study of Emerging Cyberinfrastructure”

September 17, 2014

Tom Lynch, Senior Application Designer at CSC, Computer Sciences Corporation, discussed the Social Networks and Archival Context (SNAC) project and cyberinfrastructure in a recent Digital Humanities Quarterly article, “Social Networks and Archival Context Project: A Case Study of Emerging Cyberinfrastructure”. Lynch describes SNAC as “demonstrating the ability to balance many of the variables necessary for cyberinfrastructure” and a case study of a software tool for humanities cyberinfrastructure, which he describes as “the digital manifestation of a research culture.”

Lynch worked with SNAC as part of his M.S. research while a student at the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
