- Equal parts of pulverised [sic] brick, lime and woodashes, carefully sifted through a fine sieve and broought to a proper consistence with oil. this plaister hardens immediately, either in the air, or under water and never crakcks. Olive oil only is used here, but it may be that fish oil would answer the same purpose.
